Baltimore water bill errors threaten county customers (Biz Journal)
Major billing errors by Baltimore City’s public works department are troubling
not only city residents but also customers in Baltimore County whose
inaccurate sewer bills are far too high. Correcting their water bills through
the city is not all these county residents must do to solve their problem,
according to the Baltimore Sun. Sewage charges show up in property tax bills,
which may be paid by mortgage lenders. This puts escrow accounts in jeopardy
and can raise monthly payments.
