For Me Great Fiction Fantasy Books Focus In Truth, On Reality, Although It Is Fiction

What are your favorite books? Do you like fiction fantasy books? What do you think of historical cross-genre fiction fantasy books. Ever heard of it, does such a genre exist?

Lord Of The Rings although a fantasy book is all about reality. I think the best fiction fantasy books are the ones that do not just show us what is wrong with reality, but how we can get our reality right, by realizing that, in truth, there is nothing wrong with it in the first place, all we have to do is focus on the moment to see the paradise that surrounds us at all times.

Creator, by Michael Hills, is a book like this. Perfume by Patrick Suskind is another. These books are similar in the way that they begin, following the life of a truly gifted abomination.

Both main characters have special almost magical powers, and both stories take place in actual historical scenarios, mixed with mystery, fantasy and murder.

Both are reeling in hard reality built into the framework of fantasy. And both of them have deeper meanings, and are in some way spiritual.

Perfume stops at a double symbolic meaning, where as Creator goes beyond to become a myth. Creator is a highly entertaining myth.

Why is it a myth? It has many layers, all having potentially different meanings, all equal important or unimportant, depending on how you see it. It has a top layer, a liner story line, and many layers beneath that, all of which depends on the level of understanding the reader has to interpret them.

You could read Creator when you are young, and see a meaning in it. So what if you read it again many years later? Would you see a different meaning in it, depending on your newly gained experience? Yes.

The insane thing about it is its simplicity. On one hand you have a complex myth, and on the other hand the whole story revolves around one word. Creators word is a very powerful one indeed. It symbolizes our folly, our downfall. At the same time recognizing this word, and taking it out of our vocabulary, out of our subconsciousness, would mean our salvation. I won’t give the word away. You’ll find out when you read the book.

I think Creator is so unique that it creates a category of its own. I call it CL: consciousness literature. In CL the genre, or cross genre, is unimportant. What is vital is that the writer takes the reader to another level of consciousness through the writing.

This is done almost subconsciously, which is a powerful way to internalize the message. Indeed, I think Creator has the ability to expand your consciousness. If you are looking for a good read go to best fantasy books.
